And she's off!

Annie started crawling yesterday! It's not the classic crawl just yet, but she's mobile. Now we have to watch out for cords and sharp edges. Last night she was crawling towards our shoes and trying to eat them. Maybe she needs more fiber in her diet. ;)

She also just got her second tooth!

Recent Achievements...

One of Annie's favorite hobbies nowadays is looking at books or magazines with (or without) Momma. She especially loves pictures of people. We were looking at a magazine the other day and she picked out almost all the people on each page. She would giggle and make happy noises, trying to give the people kisses.

She also picked out a strawberry lemonade cheesecake. That girl has good taste!

Annie is sitting up great and trying very hard to crawl. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. When there is a toy she wants that is too far away she tries scooting over to it but usually scoots backwards.

How did she get this far when she was just a newborn like 2 days ago?? I told her she has to stop growing and must remain officially 4 months old. ;) I love each stage she has gone through and am looking forward to the others, but it is rather sad to leave behind one stage right as we were getting used to it.

Cool Guys Camping Trip

Josh went on a guys' camping trip a couple weekends ago. They had a lot of fun up in the "mountains" of Oklahoma. Here are some pictures from the event. Warning: please be advised this is a very long post. You may want to grab a cup of coffee.

The tent my wandering nomad slept in.
They got a fire going as quick as possible that morning. I hear it was in the 20's during the night!
One man slept in a tarp under the stars. He originally was in a hammock, but had to move to the ground because of the wind.

Golden grahams and milk in an inventive cereal bowl.
The guys went hiking in the "mountains" (more like large rocky hills)

The goal of their hike (reaching those two boulders)

The two boulders up close.

A land bridge they crossed.

They saw lots of cool wildlife.

Staying warm wasn't too hard next to this baby!

Cooking a healthy breakfast... ;)

The nomad himself

Look! It's a heart!
They hiked up to a dam that day.
Fighting over a water bottle with their shadows.

My man came back sunburned and tired, but very happy. :)
