Details

There's lots of details planning a wedding - so you might want to start now even if you aren't getting married any time soon. ;)

I went to look for shoes to go with my dress last night. That was fun! I love new shoes. It was fun to look at all the ridiculously high heeled, along with the cute lower wedged ones. Anyways, we didn't find anything - but we had fun! At least I did, I think Josh left wondering the state of the female mind to wear such instruments of torture. haha

It was pouring yesterday too! Before shopping we visited a friend who was getting rid of furniture. The only problem was, her apartment was on the side furthest from the parking lot. Then we ran around the wrong side that had no sidewalk. I felt kind of bad knocking on the door as wet at we were. Thankfully she was gracious and let us in, not asking why we looked like we came straight from a water balloon fight. hehe

oh oh, yes! we now have a beautiful cranberry couch, a dryer (yes that's exciting!) and other various and sundry items. The Lord is so good to provide!

We went to find some silverware too, at the same shopping area as the shoes. Unfortunately the power was out. Maybe we'll go again tonight! Just don't tell Josh. He probably would find a rugby game to attend to balance everything out.

Living in a Snow Globe

In 3 months I will be Mrs. Joshua Hewitt. I'm quite happy about that prospect.
It has been a little over a week that we have been engaged, but I've been so busy planning for our wedding there has been no time to blog. Sorry guys!

Things have been coming together well, and the Lord has humbled me in providing so many things already! One thing I'm very thankful for is it seems as if a location is decided apon and the final arrangements for that are underway. Lord willing we will be married in a gorgeous chapel that I think is amazing! I'm so excited and looking forward to spending the rest of my life with the man God has brought me to.

I guess more details should be posted on how we met. Hmm...For now, all is well in my snow globe called life.

It's True

Well, the rumors are true...

Josh and I are engaged!!! :D

He asked me last Saturday at the arboretum. We got lost and it was nearing closing time, so I suggested we wait and go another time. Josh insited we at least check it out, "since we're already down here." I'm so glad we did! :) I was shocked and suprised when he asked me, but I said yes. :)
