Painting

We painted the kitchen and dining room recently. We still have some touching up left to do, but it is mostly finished!

Annie's smiles

Annie has been smiling a whole lot more now when she is awake. It's so fun to see her recognize us and smile.

New Table

The Lord graciously provided a table for us! We have been using a card table since we got married and it has served quite well. The only problem is when we have guests over and we have to make them sit in the living room to eat. :) Thankfully the Lord provided a really nice table (through craigslist) at a location very close to us!

Wake-time

We have been starting Annie on a schedule this past week. We waited a little while because she was so young, but noticed she was getting increasingly fussy lately and decided it was time. She is doing great! She is learning to fall asleep on her own, as opposed to falling asleep while nursing, etc. She's a lot happier now. :) These pictures were taken during her "wake-time" or play time. It's funny to see her struggle to stay awake in the begging. She stretches like a gymnast and makes all these cute grunting and squeaking sounds.

We took Annie for a walk last night. The weather was great! I am so suprised by the cloudy/rainy weather. It seems like ages since we have had that. It makes me want to curl up with a book and coffee. Josh laughed at us (my sister and I) on how we associate different foods with weather. Kind of like having soup all the time in the fall.

We are in the process of painting the kitchen two different shades of brown. It looks really good so far - can't wait to see the finished product. :D
