Showers of Blessing

Some ladies threw a baby shower for myself and another mommy a couple weekends ago. The theme was Beatrix Potter! They did such a nice job decorating the cafe where it was held. It was a huge blessing for Josh and I. Our little baby girl will have lots of things she needs because of these ladies' generosity! One such item was a stroller/carseat/carrier. I'm really looking forward to taking walks with the baby once she arrives! I think she will be and outdoors girl. :) She's already been camping, she just doesn't know it. ;)

Storm Damage

We had a pretty big storm a few days ago (for where we live anyway!). It wasn't a tornado persay, but it caused a lot of damage around town. I have seen nothing like it since living here for 9 years. Thankfully we are all safe! It seemed a "normal" spring thunder storm, but we heard some stories from friends in an apt. complex further south and closer to our work. These pics are taken from them.

Last Summer

A friend sent us this picture at a mutual friends' wedding this summer. The wedding was two weeks before ours!

Springtime!

For Easter and Spring I changed up our table's decore a little bit. We had a fall table cloth on there since we moved in - just didn't seem appropriate with the warm weather and new flowers coming up. :)
