We have enjoyed some nice sunny weather lately! A few days this week were over 70 degrees and boy did we love it. Annie got to play outside for long periods of time and gave her a break from being stuck indoors after being sick.
She was fascinated by the fence.
There was a man doing yard work across the alley.
I found some sidewalk chalk for Annie. I drew a few things for her and then she proceeded to add to them. Later on in the week she played with a drawing sketch pad and drew fish, horses, and monkeys. It looked like scribbles and lines so when she said the names of the animals I thought she wanted me to draw them for her on the pad, but Annie pointed to her scribbles and repeated the names. I was so proud of her! :)
We celebrated my sister Katie's birthday at the end of February. I had this wonderful idea for a cake, but the fondant refused to cooperate. I think it all went well in spite of it though. :)
Annie loves to flop on pillows and declare "Night night!" and the bounce back up again so she can flop on the pillow again.

Christy, I love reading about your sweet little girl! I just caught up on the last couple posts and loved the pillow and chocolate stories. What a treasure, these ordinary days with our young ones. :)
