Moral Living
we were blessed with red towells as wedding gifts. they're so soft and match the colors we wanted in our bathroom!
josh has some nice work pants that he likes (i like them too).
i was trying to be a good wife and do laundry.
i learned that you shouldn't mix red towels with other "darks", especially lighter darks, and even if they are all washed in cold water.
i should have known to do this when i noticed the red washcloth bleeding dye when it was used at the sink.
now we have to find josh some more work pants.
moral: trousers in hand are worth two in the washer.
in other news:
i need to make banana bread out of the bananas left on our counter. they are starting to get spotty and even josh won't eat them. (i'm more picky about my bananas) hopefully they don't attract fruit flies, 'cause i don't know if they'll get made into bread tonight!
moral: time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana

fun post! an interesting note for keeping future fruit flies away from your kitchen and bananas, "freeze banana peels before throwing them away, or composting them. It seems to kill the fruit fly eggs. Also, if you have bananas that are browning quickly, peel and freeze on cookie sheet - makes much easier to make banana bread when not pressured for time (also thaw them at least 1 hr. before using! mashing frozen bananas is very difficult)."
Pay no heed to this if you've heard it before... :)
